- Keep a Starter Lava Rod with no enchantments for Vanille.
- Use Corrupted Bait for Obfuscated 1, then Obfuscated 1 as bait for Obfuscated 2, and so on.
- Fish near geysers, Sulphur ore, the Dojo and other spots for location-locked fish.
Tips from the sources
- The wiki guide says the Chomp reforge gives the most Fishing Speed for trophy fishing but takes a long quest.
- Trophy Line (+5 Trophy Chance) needs Fishing 20 and Lotus collection IX.
- Gold and Diamond tiers have pity: 100 catches without a Gold, or 600 without a Diamond, guarantees that tier next.
