How the clock works
- SkyBlock began on 11 June 2019 at 17:55 UTC, Unix time 1560275700. That was the 1st of Early Spring, Year 1.
- One SkyBlock day is 20 real minutes. A month is 31 days (10h 20m). A year is 12 months (5 days 4 hours).
- We check our date against the wiki's clock, against the year on Hypixel's election data, and against Hypixel's Year 300 post, which puts that year's start on 3 September 2023.
These are the regular dates. Maintenance can get in the way, and a one-time mayor can cancel events: Dante did.
